One-on-one instruction includes using provided or personal firearms. Our custom training always begins with reviewing the essentials. Based on your skill level, we may walk you through the first steps of marksmanship and/or focus on one particular area in which you wish to increase your current skills.
Students have the opportunity to fine tune the areas that provide the biggest obstacles. The goal of our training is to move through any fears and insecurity to attain a mastery of certain areas of personal challenge.

Please note that I do most of my training at the Sportsman’s Club of Franklin County in St Albans. Where are you located?
SCHEDULING FLEXIBILITY
I am happy to be able to provide flexibility in working with one another’s schedules. This would not necessarily have to be all in one day. Instead, it could be spread over a couple of days and/or evenings. Everyone has a different learning style – some absorb well in a more immersion-style approach and others may need it to be broken up a bit.

FIREARMS FOR TRAINING USE/AMMUNITION INFORMATION
I have firearms available that you can use and try. If you provide ammunition, it may be cheaper. If I provide the ammunition, it will be at the current going rate. I use Ammoseek.com to find current cost to include shipping.
How much ammunition should you buy? Generally, plan on 200 rounds (minimal) of 22LR per person to start and 50 rounds of the larger calibers.
I use 22LR, 38SPC, 9mm, 40S&W and 45 ACP. This allows you to find the gun and caliber that works for you.
I usually advise to get a 22LR handgun first, as this is great for inexpensive training.
Looking to the future, I can also assist you in finding a firearm legally, once you find what you are looking for.
Thank you again for your interest. I welcome any questions that you may still have!
